Hide/Kaneki Ken

This pairing has been a favourite of mine ever since I picked out the manga out of curiosity! (And loved it, if ever so slighly disappointed we didn't get more of Hide! I love Kaneki, but he really was my favourite!)

Hide was just everything I loved in a character - sunshine-y but angsty too, and such a ride-or-die friend! He'd gone so far, and for so long, for Kaneki, culminating in what happened at the end of the Manga! (And, well, the anime too!).

It's kind of obvious here what the common theme is - Shang Qinghua!

I'd started the novel and, well, I did like Shen Yuan! He was fun, but I wasn't really feeling the main pairing so it wasn't going to be something I was going to ship, I was going to stay for Shen Yuan's antics, but then I'd decided to just mess around and read some of the extras and wow, did I ever ship Moshang and love Shang Qinghua! It was the whole 'cowardly but am I ever going to stay here and help me king, even putting myself in danger to do it!' that sealed it for me. I love characters like that.

Of course I immediately went and looked for fanfic and voila! A couple new ships, platonic and otherwise, added to the pile.

Zack Fair is honestly one of my ultimate favourite characters, he's been going strong for a few years now! He defintely did not deserve what happened to him, and I love reading anything about my boy! I love pretty much any pairing with him in, to be honest. I like all of the others too, of course! They all made the game enjoyable, but Zack really did become my favourite!

But, to be honest, as long as one of those pairings were included, I'd be happy!
